2023 Roatan Learn and Serve Conference
“Equipping Healthcare Providers at Clinica Esperanza”
Join INMED faculty for an educational conference and service experience on the island of Roatan, Honduras! Learn nuances of emergency care alongside Honduran medical personnel, earning 9 hours of CME. Serve at the renowned Clinica Esperanza Primary Care facility, where Spanish is useful but not required. And enjoy the island’s sightseeing and snorkeling opportunities.

Accommodations
Attendees will stay at The Meridian resort. A five-night stay is included in the conference registration fee.

The Institute for International Medicine is accredited by the Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Institute for International Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 9 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Cost
Costs Paid to INMED: $1,750 per person, includes:
- Conference Registration Fee
- 5-Night Stay at The Meridian Resort
- Meals at the conference
- Snorkeling
- Medical professional liability insurance (for medical professionals)
- Travel Insurance
- Ground transportation to the conference
- CME for American Physicians
Other Estimated Costs (Not paid to INMED): $1,250 per person
- Non-Conference Meals: $100 estimated
- Airfare: $800 estimated
- Other miscellaneous costs, not covered by the registration fee, may include passport fees, vaccinations, cab fare outside of designated conference transportation, souvenirs, and other personal expenditures.
Total Trip Estimate: $3,000. A non-refundable $100 deposit is due at the time of application. All remaining fees due to INMED must be paid by September 1, 2023.
