Professional Diploma In International Public Health – DIPH
OVERVIEW
The INMED Professional Diploma in International Public Health (DIPH) equips public healthcare professionals and health profession students who are particularly interested in serving low-resource and cross-cultural communities. The DIPH includes service-learning at an INMED International Public Health Training Site.
At the completion of the INMED Professional Diploma in International Public Health learners will be able to demonstrate through actual professional practice:
- Prevention of the leading diseases of poverty
- Prevention of HIV infection
- Care for the health of pregnant women and newborns
- Skill in community-wide health promotion and death/disability prevention
- Culturally appropriate healthcare
- Proficiency in disaster mitigation and response
- Design and implementation of team-lead healthcare interventions
- Transfer of healthcare skills to other personnel
