Participants in the INMED Professional Diploma in International Medicine & Public Health are ultimately responsible for all associated expenses. The following fees are those that are paid to INMED for participation in the program. Participants are also responsible for all other costs incurred, including but not limited to airfare, passport, visa, vaccinations, and housing and meals at the Professional Certificate Course in International Medicine & Public Health location and international service learning Training Site. Participants are invited to apply to the INMED Alumni Scholarship Fund.

PROGRAM COST

Diploma Program Application Fee: $100

Tuition for the Professional Certificate Course in International Medicine & Public Health:  $2,720 for Master’s degree credit. Tuition for non-Master’s degree learners is $1,360. Non-Master’s degree learners should register using coupon code NMPCC50. There is no additional charge for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit.

Service Learning Enrollment Tuition: $850

The Service Learning Enrollment Tuition covers the cost of one’s international medical liability insurance policy (that protect learners from healthcare litigation abroad), the cost of an international travel and evacuation insurance policy (for personal health crises), and for the uniquely challenging logistics of arranging of international service-learning in low-resource communities.

Other expenses associated with Diploma training normally include airfare, passport, visa, vaccinations, and housing and meals at the international site.  These travel expenses are usually on the order of $3000 – $4000. INMED can provide Training Site specific estimates. Participants are responsible for all fees.

SOCIAL FUNDRAISING

Accepted participants may share their upcoming service learning experience with friends and family. INMED can collect donations on behalf of students. Individuals who donate online will receive a tax-deductible receipt via email. Due to Paypal processing fees, a 3% administrative fee is taken out at the time of fund withdrawal. Participants are under no obligation to raise funds in this way – this is simply a service INMED provides to aid our learners in raising financial support. Contact [email protected] for more details.

REFUND POLICY

The International Service Learning Application Fee ($100) is refundable if an application withdrawal request is made within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of the applicant’s submitted online application form. All payments made to INMED must be in US dollars.
