Graduate Diploma In International Medicine & Public Health – DIMPH
Overview
The INMED Graduate Diploma in International Medicine & Public Health (DIMPH) equips healthcare professionals who are particularly interested in serving low-resource and cross-cultural communities. This learning experience is designed for physicians, physician assistants, dentists, pharmacists and learners of these professions. The DIMPH includes a international service-learning at an INMED International Medicine Training Site.

Competency Objectives
At the completion of the INMED Graduate Diploma in International Medicine & Public Health learners will be able to demonstrate through simulation and actual professional practice:
- Management and prevention of the leading diseases of poverty
- Management and prevention of HIV infection
- Care for the health of pregnant women and newborns
- Proficiency in clinical skills useful in low-resource settings
- Skill in community-wide health promotion and death/disability prevention
- Culturally appropriate healthcare
- Proficiency in disaster mitigation and response
- Design and implementation of team-lead healthcare interventions
- Transfer of healthcare skills to other personnel
