Professional Diplomas / International Rotations
The INMED Professional Diploma programs are designed for healthcare professionals and learners to increase their skills on behalf of marginalized people. Recipients of an INMED Professional Diploma will be prepared to lead comprehensive disease intervention and health promotion efforts in low-resource and cross-cultural contexts. INMED currently offers the following three Professional Diploma programs:
INMED Professional Diploma in International Medicine & Public Health – DIMPH
This professional diploma program is designed for physicians, physician assistants, dentists, pharmacists and learners of these professions to complement their education with academic skills and clinical experience in international medicine, including rotations at INMED International Medicine Training Sites. Equipped in this way, recipients of the INMED Professional Diploma in International Medicine & Public Health (DIMPH) will be prepared to lead comprehensive disease intervention and health promotion efforts in low-resource communities.
INMED Professional DIPLOMA IN International Nursing & PUBLIC HEALTH – DINPH
This professional diploma program for nurses and nursing students, including master’s level and advanced practice, is designed to complement their education with academic skills and clinical experience in international nursing, including rotations at INMED International Nursing Training Sites. Equipped in this way, recipients of the INMED Professional Diploma in International Nursing & Public Health will be prepared to effectively participate in disease intervention and health promotion efforts in low-resource and cross-cultural communities.
INMED Professional Diploma in International Public Health – DIPH
This professional diploma program is designed for healthcare professionals and students to complement their education with academic skills and field experience at INMED International Public Health Training Sites. Equipped in this way, recipients of the INMED Professional Diploma in International Public Health will be prepared to lead comprehensive health promotion efforts in low-resource and cross-cultural communities.
