Professional Certificate Course in Healthcare for Marginalized Americans
Many Americans suffer from poor health and inadequate healthcare. Often these individuals are low-income, undereducated, minorities, disabled, elderly, veterans, refugees, and undocumented persons. This course explores the complex social dynamics that contribute to their plight, and highlights interventions that have proven effective for both meeting short term needs and creating longer term solutions. Course participants will develop strategies they will be able to implement via their own efforts to improve healthcare for marginalized Americans.
