The Professional Certificate Course in Advanced Mother Baby Outcomes (AMBO) has two sections: online and in-classroom. The online section provides critical information about maternal health, OB complications, newborn care, and management of common newborn diseases. The online section requires about five hours to complete. Following is the general schedule of the in-classroom section.

1:00     Labor complications & Simulation: Failure to Progress, Shoulder Dystocia, Malpresentations, Postpartum Hemorrhage

2:00     Neonatal Resuscitation

3:00     First Week of Life Health Issues: General care & Nutrition, Common Newborn Complications: Sepsis, Jaundice

3:30    AMBO Implementation & Birth Center Design

4:00    Finish
