Lori Myrick, RN, MSN lived and served for two decades with her family in the Muslim world, including sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa, the Middle East, and the Horn of Africa – including INMED Training Sites Kanad Hospital and Kijabe Hospital. She has served as a labor and delivery nurse alongside her husband, Tim, a family physician. While in Kenya, they focused on the needs of Somali refugees. Lori communicates fluently in Arabic and French. Her master’s degree is in health professions education, and teaching experience includes the University of Missouri.
