Participants in the INMED Diploma in International Nursing & Public Health are ultimately responsible for all expenses associated with it. The following fees are those that are paid to INMED for enrollment in the program. Participants are responsible for all other costs incurred, including but not limited to airfare, passport, visa, vaccinations, and housing and meals at the International Nursing & Public Health Hybrid Course location and international service learning site. Participants are invited to apply to the INMED Alumni Scholarship Fund.
International Service Learning Application Fee: $100
Course Fee for the International Nursing & Public Health Hybrid Course: $1200
(To receive CE for this course, there is an additional fee of $600)
Service Learning Enrollment Fee: $850
(Reduced to $745 if application is made within six months of completing the above course)
The Service Learning Enrollment Fee covers the cost of one’s international medical liability insurance policy (that protect learners from healthcare litigation abroad), the cost of an international travel and evacuation insurance policy (for personal health crises), and for the uniquely challenging logistics of arranging of international service-learning in low-resource communities.
Other expenses associated with Diploma training normally include airfare, passport, visa, vaccinations, and housing and meals at the international site. Total cost of the INMED Diploma in International Nursing & Public Health training is usually on the order of $4000 – $5000 per participant. Participants are responsible for all fees.
The International Service Learning Application Fee application fee ($100) is nonrefundable. All payments made to INMED must be in US dollars.
75% of the Course Fee for the International Nursing & Public Health Hybrid Course is refundable before the 1st day of the course. 50% refunds are available through the 1st week of the course. No refunds are available after the 1st week of the course. If a course participant desires to cancel his/her enrollment, he/she has the choice to request a refund or to apply his/her payment to a future INMED Hybrid Course.
If for any reason you must cancel your international service learning experience, 75% of the international service learning enrollment fee is refundable up to 60 days prior to beginning the elective.
