Financial Aid

The student is ultimately responsible for all expenses associated with INMED International Public Health Certificate training. Several effective means of raising financial support are available:
  1. Personal Fund Raising
  2. Civic Organization Support
  3. Scholarships
Remember...

"The most successful teams in raising funds -- no matter how much they have had to raise -- have been those that remembered a simple principle: People give to vision. So, give people something to be a part of. Allow them to take some ownership." - Jennifer Lichty, Director of Special Teams for International Team

1. Personal Fund Raising

INMED will establish on behalf of any Certificate student a Scholarship Fund to assist with Certificate-related expenses. A tax-deductible receipt will be provided to anyone making a financial contribution toward a student's Scholarship Fund. There is a ten percent administration fee for all electronic gifts made to this fund and an eight percent administration fee for all other gifts made to this fund. Please direct supporters to give electronically at http://inmed.us/student_scholarships.asp or download the following form and have it completed by each individual making a financial contribution: Scholarship Contribution.
  • On the average, $2500 can be raised through well-written letters sent to about 75 people who know you: family members and friends
  • Spread the word widely; don't limit the letters to friends and family.
  • Send thank-you letters for every financial gift. Sometimes, "thank you" notes will even bring follow-up gifts
