INMED is pleased to cooperate with a growing number of healthcare facilities that serve as INMED Training Sites, providing both educational opportunities and important services to their communities. These INMED Training Sites frequently have need of skilled healthcare professionals who are willing to volunteer their time and talent. The objective of the INMED Diplomat is to support these healthcare facilities and their communities by providing such volunteer personnel.
INMED Diplomats must have first successfully completed one of the following INMED training programs:
Qualified individuals are invited to submit an application to become an INMED Diplomat. As part of the application process, individuals will provide both the time intervals when they are available and those Training Sites where they would like to serve. INMED will contact both the applicant and the training sites to arrange a match. The exact role of the INMED Diplomat on site will be negotiated between the Diplomat and the site supervisor, taking into account the Diplomat's particular skills and the Training Sites unique needs.
INMED Diplomats are ultimately responsible for all expenses associated with their volunteer service. A non-refundable application fee of $50 is due at the time of application. The $300 service fee is due within 30 days after the application is accepted and a Training Site assignment is secured. The service fee covers:
