Frequently Asked Questions
Why did the conference dates change from May 18-19th to June 1-2nd, 2012? After the 2011 EMMC, a new facility was needed to accommodate parking needs and growing exhibitor interest. Unfortunately, the new facility was not available on May 18-19th. Thus, the date of the conference was changed to June 1-2, 2012.
Why is the conference in a new location? A new facility was needed to accommodate parking needs and growing exhibitor interest. We considered many alternative facilities, including hotels; however, the cost of hosting the conference at an adequately sized hotel would have resulted in much higher registration costs for our participants. After a thorough search, the new location has been chosen because of the size of facility, parking accommodations, convenience for conference attendees and exhibitors, and the modern conveniences it provides, such as wireless internet, etc. This location is a perfect fit for the needs of the conference, and we are looking forward to you joining us in our new home for the EMMC.
What time should I arrive? On Friday, June 1, registration and sign-in begins at 8:00 AM. Presentations begin at 9:00 AM and will end at 4:20 PM. Please arrive no later than 8:30 AM to assure you don't miss any of the event.
To be eligible for CME or CNE credit, you must attend the whole conference. If you wish to gain CME or CNE credit, you must sign in prior to 9:15 AM on both days of the conference. Partial credit will not be given, and the certificates will be emailed after the conclusion of the conference. More information can be found at http://inmed.us/exploring_medical_missions_conference/cme-cne.asp On Saturday, June 2, presentations begin at 9:00 AM and will end at 12:00 PM.
