| EXPLORING MEDICAL MISSIONS CONFERENCE |
What time should I arrive?
On Friday, May 31, registration and sign-in begins at 8:00 AM. Presentations begin at 9:00 AM and will end at 5:00 PM. Please arrive by 8:30 AM to assure you don't miss any of the event.
To be eligible for CME or CNE credit, you must attend the whole conference. If you wish to gain CME or CNE credit, you must sign in prior to 9:15 AM on both days of the conference. Partial credit will not be given. An evaluation will be emailed to each participant at the start of the conference. Upon completion of the evaluation, a certificate will be emailed to you. Where should I park?
Plenty of free parking is available on site at the conference.
What should I wear?
Recommended attire for the conference is business casual. We recommend bringing a light jacket with you to the event in case the temperature at the conference is cooler than you are used to.
Will there be internet access?
Guest Wi-Fi Internet access will be available during the event.
Do I need to take notes? Will I have access to the powerpoint presentations?
In an effort to save paper, we will NOT be providing paper handouts of the presentations at the conference. Downloads of the powerpoint presentations will be made available prior to the conference at http://inmed.us/exploring_medical_missions_conference/presentations.asp. Additionally, if you would like to take notes during the conference presentations, please bring paper or a mobile device with you to do so.
Is this a religious event?
The Exploring Medical Missions Conference is an educational event hosted by INMED and accredited by ACIHE - the Accreditation Council For International Healthcare Education. Any faith-based presentations are denoted in the name and description of that individual presentation or in the description of the speaker. People of all backgrounds are invited to attend.
