2011 CONFERENCE THEME: FROM RESCUE TO RESILIENCE

This year is one marked by disaster and ongoing deprivation. The heartening response of many is to donate of their personal time, talent, and treasures to rescue those in crisis. But even well meaning rescue has its limitations. The 2011 Exploring Medical Missions Conference theme is From Rescue To Resilience. This event will emphasize 'training the trainers' - equipping participants to in turn empower leaders of marginalized communities to care for their own.
